About Dana History
My name is Ana, I originate from Mexico but I have spent 20+ years in the United States. I’m a single mother of 3 teenagers. My oldest daughter Daisy is 19 in college, then there is my son NIcolas 17 in high school, and my youngest Alondra 14 in middle school.
DANA Cleaning Services Inc started in 2020 during the summer time, I had always wanted to eventually be able to work for myself owning a small business that would eventually turn into something big.
When I first started I had no recommendations or supplies to work with which was extremely hard but I had a couple of cleaning supplies at home that I could use. I decided to make a couple of business cards that I would hand out everyday to hopefully receive one call for an estimate.
After a couple of days I received my first call for an estimate, I went to check out the house and negotiated some prices with the client and started working with them for a little over a year and then shortly after I started to receive one to two calls for estimates. I would save up money from the cleanings and I would buy supplies little by little.
It got to a point where I was super busy that I started to look for people to work with me and build a team. After a couple of months I was busy almost every week with 1-3 houses each day and having
my team of 2-3 ladies. With clients liking my company’s work they would recommend us with friends, neighbors, and family that were looking for a cleaning company and slowly started getting more houses and being even more busy. I started doing normal everyday cleanings but when it got to the summer time where almost everyone is moving houses/apartments I started to do move out cleanings, deep cleanings, move in cleanings
It all depends on the type of cleaning the client wants
My goal and dream for my company is to grow my company as much as I can. So one day I could be able to sit down in an office answering emails, phone calls, going to do estimates personally and having my teams of 2-3 ladies do the cleanings without me being physically present.
